The radio program “Bucks Blue” will interview the former sergeant of Bensalem
YARDLEY, PA – ‘Bucks Blue’, the new radio show hosted by Yardley Borough Police Chief Joseph Kelly, has announced that its next guest to be interviewed will be James R. Fitzgerald, a retired FBI agent who began his career with the Bensalem Police Department.
Kelly will meet with Fitzgerald to discuss his early days in Bucks County, his promotion to Sergeant and Criminal Investigator with the Bensalem Police Department, and his long career with the FBI.
While working at the FBI, Fitzgerald served as a supervisory special agent, criminal profiler, forensic linguist, and member of the Behavioral Analysis Unit. On his website, Fitzgerald mentions that he was involved in the Unabomber investigation, of which he was a key investigator, after showing up at Ted Kaczynski’s famous log cabin before his famous arrest.
Fitzgerald has also been integral to the investigations of the Jon Benet Ramsey homicide, the DC Sniper case, the post-911 Anthrax investigation, and many other well-documented FBI cases.
He is the author of the “A Journey To The Center Of The Mind” book series, which covers true stories from his time as a police officer and later as an FBI agent. He also worked as a technical advisor for the CBS-TV series Criminal mindsco-host and executive producer of A&E’s killer profileand many other television programs centered on the real and fictional work of the FBI.

Chef Kelly began hosting this new radio show in December after being approached by WBCB to host the new program. Kelly previously co-hosted “Yardley Boro on Air” with Mayor Chris Harding on the same radio station.
